It’s one of the biggest questions patrons ask every year. Who will host GH Music’s Biggest Night? From the legendary Chairman General Kwami Sefa Kayi through the combinations of musicians Obour, Dentaa and Samini to duos Chris Attoh and Naa Ashorkor, KOD and Eazzy, Nathaniel Attoh and Jocelyn Dumas, etc, the host of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Night has always been a major talking point.
With the 19th edition of the scheme right around the corner, the question has popped up yet again with many asking whether the announced duo of the beautiful and confident Berla Mundi with the Charismatic and celebrated actor John Dumelo will be the right pair to steer affairs come the big night.
Over the years Berla Mundi has proven herself to be exceptional at what she does. From hosting TV shows like music reality tv shows, the Miss Malaika beauty pageant, as well as her own show, The Late Afternoon Show With Berla Mundi, the VGMA stage seems to be a natural graduation for her.
By her side, as mentioned earlier will be the charming, and witty John Dumelo, who is sure to add some humor to the night with his fun-loving personality. John Dumelo is an accomplished actor and entertainer, and is no stranger to the world of hosting, as he hosted last year’s Glitz Style Awards. With these two as the MCs, we are definitely in for a treat!
But the main stage isn’t the only part of the event that needs steering. The Red Carpet at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has over the years proven to be an event on its own! It is where we see the who is who of Ghanaian Society, including our favorite nominees, glammed up and ready to strut their stuff! It’s a chance for our designers and celebrities alike to shine!
Berla Mundi has over the years shown exceptional talent hosting the red carpet. Her graduation to the big stage has got many wondering who would have the oomph to confidently ensure that style and glam are celebrated on the red carpet come Saturday 14th April.
